Building global businesses using digital technology

The Digital Consultant

Charity firmly believes in the transformative power of technology to reshape economies and enhance people’s lives.

With over ten years of experience, she has been dedicated to crafting digital solutions for MSMEs in e-commerce, and education. Her expertise spans across various domains including digital strategy, product management, business analysis, e-commerce, and digital project management. Currently, in her role as Tech and Automation Lead at VGC Group LLC, she assists clients in harnessing technology and tailored strategies to optimize business processes and achieve sustainable growth.

Throughout her consulting journey, Charity has contributed to remarkable innovations, including the development of two groundbreaking AI-driven products and two others harnessing the potential of blockchain technology. She played a pivotal role in the digital transformation of a prominent black media television network, and her strategic acumen streamlined event and supply chain management for a real estate organization, all through the strategic application of technology. However, her most significant achievements revolve around collaborating with e-commerce and retail companies, fortifying their business strategies with the power of technology.

Charity’s company, The VGC Group, received the prestigious “2021 Minority eCommerce Firm of the Year by the U.S. Department of Commerce MBDA Award” and engaged in various impactful UN projects.

She has shared her expertise on technology, strategy, and leadership on platforms like the International Trade Center (ITC) eCommerce Global, ImpactHer, African Digital Skills Conference, Google’s Women Tech Makers Conference (West Africa edition), USAID’s Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI), Enterprise Bureau, Multimedia (Joy FM), and Yfm.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she is deeply committed to empowering the youth through tech advocacy, diplomacy, and policy interventions using her platform, Black Tech Lead. Her quest to reach more young Africans with her message of technology and leadership led to speaking and mentoring over 500 young people in 2023, either through personal mentoring or training sessions or conferences like the Women Techmakers Accra, Young Africa Leaders Summit, Young Global Leaders Network, Blossom Women Data Fellows, Developers in Vogue, among others. In 2023, she was specially invited by the British High Commissioner for a breakfast meeting to discuss matters around girls, technology and national development.

Charity has recently launched her new book, “Tech Hustle.”;  a captivating fictional tale set in various locations, brimming with valuable life lessons. The book is tailored for young individuals, especially teenagers, seeking inspiration for a career in technology. In “Tech Hustle,” Charity seamlessly combines her passion for storytelling with her mission to inspire and connect with young minds.
